With Google discontinuing the Chrome App ecosystem, we have made a (painful) move into developing native apps by compiling Python with Tkinter. This will allow us to target Windows, OSX, and Linux (and frankly any other system that features Python). The good news is, we will be launching HamShield Simplex in the next week or two. I will be uploading a video soon documenting how to use the application.
This will eventually branch out to all of our targeted applications -- including the sorely needed packet radio interface. We invested in a full TNC setup to diagnose some of the last bugs with this implementation.

Right now you need to compile and upload the serial controller, but we will eventually have the application do this automatically with a known stable and functioning Arduino binary.
